A classic Southern dish to celebrate New Year's. The black-eyed peas are for good fortune in the coming year. Triple "B" Braised Red Cabbage
A favourite recipe of ours from Emily Richards and the Best of Bridge cookbook series. We love serving this up during Oktoberfest along with some delicious pan seared pork schnitzel and pierogies or noodles. Some red cabbage dishes call for the cabbage to be coarsely chopped, but because it cooks for so long, you can chop it about 1/2-inch thick.
