Braised Salted Caramel Peaches with Whipped Cream and Almonds

Ingredients...
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) unsalted butter
- ¼ cup (60 ml) orange juice
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Backyard Honey Company Cinnamon Creamed Honey
- 1 pinch salt
- 8 ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
- Garnishes: Whipped cream, toasted sliced almonds, Maldon Finishing Salt
Method...
- In a 30 cm Cast Iron Handle Skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the orange juice, cinnamon honey and salt. Stir until the honey has melted. Add the peaches, cut side down, and cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Flip the peaches over and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for another 5 minutes or until tender.
- Serve the peaches hot or at room temperature topped with whipped cream and toasted almonds. Drizzle with any remaining caramel left over in the skillet and a pinch of Maldon Finishing Salt.
