Nova Scotia Oatmeal Coconut Cookies
After the tragic events in Nova Scotia, one of our customers posted a lovely story about her mom's delicious oatmeal cookies. Her mom was born in Nova Scotia, and these cookies were her tribute to the Nova Scotia community suffering this terrible tragedy. We asked if she would share the recipe after we whipped up a batch. They are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. When we tested them we added some extra healthy stuff - 2 tbsp hemp seeds and 2 tbsp ground flax seeds. Thank you Kathy for sharing!
