Perfect Macaron in your own kitchen?  Mais oui!  With the correct technique and a little time, anyone can make these delicate French confections.  We promise.  Are they ‘tricky and picky’?  Yes, but our wonderful guest instructor Lynne Barna will show you how to make the best macaron you have ever tasted!  Perfect meringue, macaronage, piping with precision, achieving the perfect pied (foot) and flavoured buttercream filling are all on the menu. We can already hear your ‘ooh la la’! Each student will go home with 8 to 10  delicious macaron. (A simple seasonal soup will be served before the work begins.)

Instructor: Lynne Barna began working at Relish in 2015 and quickly became a valued staff member. On a scheduled vacation to Paris, we suggested she take a macarons class as the esteemed Studio Pâtisserie - and the rest is history. While Lynne has moved onto a new career path, she loves to return to her Relish roots, whether it's helping out in the store during the holiday season, or teaching students how to make macarons! She is the meringue Queen!

What To Expect In Our Hands-on Classes: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In this class you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. 

  • You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2-3 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students.
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

RELISH RECIPES are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with us before attending the class.
