Italian Summer Aperol Spritz

Aperol spritz is a classic Italian aperitivo, or pre-dinner drink. It's the perfect cocktail for laid-back summer evenings, because it's bubbly, refreshing, and super simple to make. Perfect to pull out for a backyard gathering or a relaxing evening on your own!

Ingredients...

  • Ice
  • 3 ounces Prosecco
  • 2 ounces Aperol
  • 1 ounce club soda or sparkling water
  • Orange slice, for garnish

Method...

  1. Fill a wine glass with ice. Pour in the Prosecco, followed by the Aperol and club soda.
  2. Garnish with an orange slice and serve.

Make it a Pitcher:

  • 3 cups Prosecco
  • 2 cups Aperol
  • 1 cup soda water
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  1. Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice cubes. Add the sliced oranges to the pitcher.
  2. Pour 2 cups of Aperol into the pitcher. Add 3 cups of Prosecco to the pitcher. Carefully pour 1 cup of soda water into the pitcher.
  3. Use a long spoon or stirring rod to gently mix the ingredients.
  4. Serve the Aperol Spritz from the pitcher into glasses filled with ice cubes, ensuring each glass receives some orange slices.
  5. Cin cin!
