Hello Spring Chicken with Homegrown Roots
Tonight we welcome Homegrown Roots, a local farming operation which produces ethically and sustainably raised meat and poultry. In this class, we’ll show you how easy it is to make a simple spring roast chicken dinner. We'll also prepare two quick meals with leftover chicken, to use later in the week. We'll show you how to elevate the original flavour by combining new and seasonal ingredients for a fresh spin on leftover dinners. Homegrown Roots will share their story on their farming practices as well.
BONUS: We will have chicken from Homegrown Roots available for purchase after the class.
