Relish Cooking Studio is committed to the safety of our employees and guests.  We have been consistently monitoring the developments associated with the spread of COVID-19 and have taken special measures to provide a safe environment for our staff and guests including smaller class sizes, mandatory hand sanitizing and enhanced cleaning and hand-washing protocols.



The coronavirus has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is easily spread from person-to-person contact.

While Relish Cooking Studio (RCS) has put in place all the preventative measures required by the Region of Waterloo Public Health department, we cannot guarantee you will not become infected with COVID-19 while on our (RCS) premises.

When you register and pay for a in-studio cooking class or event, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. Such exposure or infection may result in injury, illness, disability or even death.

You voluntarily agree to assume the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, disability or death you may experience as a result of becoming exposed or infected by COVID-19 while on the RCS premises.

Therefore, when you sign up for a class at RCS, you (individually or on behalf of others, your beneficiaries, assigns, heirs and estate) release covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Relish Cooking Studio and its employees, directors, lawyers, agents, insurers and representatives from any and all liabilities, claims, causes of action, damage, fees, costs and expenses of any kind in respect of any such injury, illness, disability or death that you may experience in the event that you become exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while on the premises of RCS.

By registering and paying the required fee, you confirm you have read, understood, and have voluntarily agreed to this Assumption of Risk And Liability Waiver relating to COVID-19.
