VIRTUAL COOKING: Homemade Pasta Without A Machine
Tonight we will learn how to make pasta without the use of a machine. Using only our fingers you will create a small handmade artisan-style noodle called "cavatelli". You'll work along with us as you learn to mix semolina flour then knead until you create a smooth dough. Learn how to roll and shape the dough using a few techniques to create the small noodle. We'll introduce you to broccoli rabe/rapini an important vegetable in Italian cooking. Then you'll create a simple old-world Sicilian recipe using 5 ingredients to create a delicious one-pan meal with your homemade pasta. Plus we'll share ideas with you for other ways you can create fun dishes with cavatelli.
