Virtual Baking: Paczki
Pazcki (Poonch-key) are yeast dough, fried donuts filled with jam or cream and only found during the Easter season. They are a Fat Tuesday tradition that were traditionally served before pre-Easter fasting began, but now can often be found in stores only until Easter. Well now you can learn to make your own in this virtual baking class.
In this part cook-along/part demo class you will prepare a yeast dough and pastry cream, then you will watch as we demonstrate how to roll out the dough, cut it into doughnuts, fry in a oil and roll in sugar. Then we will show you how to fill with pastry cream or jam using a piping bag. There is plenty of time to ask questions during this intensive workshop. We highly recommend you have a stand mixer with a dough hook to participate in this class. This menu uses eggs, dairy, sugar and flour.
