Knowing how to use and care for your cookware properly can do just as much for your food life as knowing how to cook. From cast iron to carbon steel and stainless steel to non-stick pan, you will learn some of the science behind these different types of cookware. We'll cover topics such as how they are made, how they conduct heat and how to best care for them. Then you'll prepare a variety of simple recipes that will showcase their versatility and best use practises. 

You'll have a chance to practise with the following cookware: Le Creuset cast iron, Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick, Meyer Stainless Steel  and De Buyer carbon steel frypan
