What do you do, when you are a chef and your in-laws are picky eaters? Well if anyone knows what to do, it's Chef Thompson Tran of The Wooden Boat Food Company. Tonight he joins us to cook up a menu rich in his cultural heritage - Southern Vietnamese. You'll enjoy a menu featuring traditional appetizers, main dishes and desserts all while enjoying his witty sense of humour and passion for the food. You'll even be able to get into the fun by helping to make the wontons. 

Menu: Wontons, Dumplings & Spring Rolls (Hoành Thánh, Bánh Bao, Chả Giò), Braised Pork Shoulder in Coconut Caramelized Fish Sauce” (Thịt Heo Kho) with Jasmine Rice( Cơm), Garlic & Spinach Soup” (Rau Bina), Pandan Sticky Rice, w/ Sweet and Salty Peanuts & Coconut (Xôi Lá Dứa)
