Thai food is one of the most popular cuisines around the world. The emphasis is placed on lightly prepared dishes with bright aromatic flavours with a spicy edge and absolute attention to detail in the presentation.
In this virtual class, our instructor will walk you through the steps in learning to make a simple but flavourful chicken curry (but easy enough to substitute tofu or vegetables to make a vegan version). First we will demonstrate how to make a homemade Thai curry paste (if you purchase the food kit, you will receive a 50 g to use to make your curry). Then you will learn some prep and chopping skills in order to prepare a crispy salad to serve alongside your curry. Learn how to work with Thai birds eye chili peppers and other special ingredients including lemongrass, kefir lime leaves and galangal. You'll also prepare a pot of Jasmine rice to just the perfect fluffiness. After this class, you'll never need to order take-out again!
